Ismael Hassen Aredo and his family have operated the Kayon Mountain Farm since 2012. They have a meticulous approach to not only the harvesting and processing but also the structure and management of the farm. Ismael oversees over 300 employees that he offers higher than average wages to. He also provides financial support for building schools, free transportation, and administration buildings for the community. This type of generosity and craftsmanship is the reason we have had a relationship with Kayon Mountain Farm for 5 years.

This dial calls for slightly finer than neutral with a small updose to accentuate the pleasantly syrupy body. La Guachoca's prevailing attribute is sweetness, so be sure to adjust your dial until the result is reminiscent of brown sugar and maple syrup with some vanilla complexity.
